Meet Our Staff
Here at Mesos Plastic Surgery and Laser Center we strive for all of our patients to receive excellent pre- and post-operative care from our professional and clinical staff. The licensed nurses, and extensively trained support staff are one of the thresholds required to achieve accreditation for our surgical facility by The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF). The “Quad-A” approval is the gold standard in the industry.

Carrie Blevins MS, RD
Office Manager/ Surgical Coordinator
Carrie has been at Mesos Plastic surgery since the doors opened in 2005. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Masters degree in Human Nutrition. She has extensive clinical training and experience having worked in the Florida Hospital Healthcare system. Her responsibilities include personnel, operations management, and marketing, however her passion lies in patient education. Carrie offers nutritional counseling and coordinates hormone and nutrient deficiency testing for patients struggling with nutrition or hormone related health issues. She also works with surgical patients, helping to provide them with a thorough understanding of their recommended procedures and educating them on how to best prepare both mentally and nutritionally for a positive surgical experience. She is married to Larry Blevins PA and together they have 3 beautiful daughters Savannah, Raegan and Abigail.
Heather came to Mesos almost two years ago. She and her 2 sons Zane and Quade moved to Fruitland Park from Germany where her husband was stationed in the Army. She has a Bachelors degree from Fayetteville State University and has made a big impact with her dedication and support to other team members. Heather helps with all aspects of coding and billing for insurance patients and oversees all payable and receivable accounts. Heather works behind the scenes to ensure an efficient work environment.
Front Office Administrator/ Scheduling Coordinator
Tatiana joined our practice in 2012. She has strong communication skills and brings a warm and enthusiastic feel that our patients and staff enjoy. She is fluent in Spanish. She is responsible for all aspects of patient records management, appointment scheduling, patient demographics and works diligently to ensure that our patients privacy is protected. Tatiana will ensure that your experience at Mesos exceeds your expectations. In her off time, Tatiana enjoys spending time with her husband and two handsome sons Nikoh and Caden and stays active helping enrich the lives of young children on the board of her local youth baseball association.
Lead Medical Assistant
Donna originally joined our team as an esthetician and quickly evolved as our PA’s Lead assistant. Her fun loving attitude and aesthetic eye allows her to assist our patients with their cosmetic goals. She can help answer any questions you may have reguarding a cosmetic procedure.She is responsible for patient care during Filler, Botox, Spider vein treatments and FX Laser skin resurfacing procedures. Behind the scenes Donna manages our cosmetic stock inventory. On her days off she loves spending time boating and traveling with her family.
Ross joined us in 2012, however his passion for working with patients began much early when working as a clinical team member at The Villages Regional Medical Center. Ross is responsible for all aspects of patient care during Filler, Botox, Spider vein treatments and FX Laser skin resurfacing procedures. He provides support to his team and can quickly mold into any clinical position. He has an eye for aesthetic detail and a calming presence which patients enjoy. Ross is very involved in community sports and is attending school to grow his education in the medical field.
Robin Tempesta LPN
Surgical Nurse/ Scrub
Robin joined the Mesos Team in 2010. Many words used to describe her are caring, warm and charismatic. Her initial role was Office Manager of our Winter Park Office. As our office grew here in The Villages and more staff was needed Robin rose to the occasion, gained an education as an LPN and is now one of our Talented Trio. She works as an Operating Room Nurse and Scrub Assistant. On the days she is not in surgery she works as a Surgical Coordinator acting as a liason between our doctors and our patients ensuring that all of our patients have the ultimate surgical experience and a clear understanding of the procedures recommended. She also provides support to all of our post operative patients to ensure a speedy recovery. Behind the scenes Robin is in charge of Inventory, Ordering supplies and OSHA compliance. In addition to her LPN Robin has a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support from the AMA and is a certified thermage technician. Robin enjoys spending time with her children and is currently working towards her RN degree.
Jamie Hernandez LPN
Surgical Nurse/ Scrub
Jamie joined the Mesos Team in 2011. She started with Mesos as our PA’s Lead Assistant and after receiving her Nursing Degree she switched roles and is now part of the Talented Trio in our Accredited Operating Suite. Jamie has many responsibilities including managing quality assurance measures for the maintenance of our surgical facility accreditation and is paramount to the patient experience in the operating room. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels supported, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit. Jamie circulates and assists our Surgeons in the operating room. She also cares for patients during their post operative recovery period to ensure every patient is comfortable and worry free. On the days she is not in surgery she works as a Surgical Coordinator acting as a liason between our doctors and our patients ensuring that all of our patients have the ultimate surgical experience and a clear understanding of the procedures recommended. In her free time she enjoys spending time on her families ranch with her husband Andres and son Taylor.
Linda Fletcher RN
Surgical Recovery Nurse
Linda joined our team in 2012. She brings years of expertise in the nursing field, receiving her Associates of Science in Nursing from Bristol College. Linda is part of our Talented Trio and works in a variety of surgical roles and is our primary recovery nurse. She educates patients and their families about all phases and aspects of the surgical recovery process to assure that the post operative transition is a smooth one. Linda has a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support from the AMA. In her free time she enjoys playing pickleball, speed walking, and spending time with her husband of 50 years Fletch and their 9 beautiful grandchildren.
